How to Use ScoreZap
Get up and running in four quick steps:

- Create a team. Tap Teams > New Team, choose a sport, and add players.
- Add a game. Open your team and tap New Game. Set the opponent, date, and venue.
- Score live. Start the game and record events as they happen — points, goals, cards, and more.
- Share with followers. Anyone following your team gets live updates and notifications automatically.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and enter the email associated with your account. We'll send you a reset link. If you signed in with Google or Apple, use the same provider to sign back in — there's no separate password to reset.
How do I cancel a subscription?
ScoreZap Premium subscriptions are managed by the App Store or Google Play, not by us directly:
- iOS: Open Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, select ScoreZap, then Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Open the Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, select ScoreZap, then Cancel subscription.
Your Premium features remain available until the end of the current billing period.
Why am I not getting notifications?
Run through this checklist:
- Make sure notifications are enabled for ScoreZap in your device settings (iOS: Settings > Notifications > ScoreZap; Android: Settings > Apps > ScoreZap > Notifications).
- In the app, check Profile > Notification Settings — make sure the relevant team and event types are enabled.
- Confirm you're actually following the team (open the team > tap Follow).
- If you recently reinstalled the app, sign out and back in to refresh your push token.
If notifications still aren't arriving, email contact@smethco.com with your device platform and the team name.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile > Edit Profile > Delete Account. Your personal data is purged immediately. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
